Hey Bob, I've always been a big believer of this and couldn't agree more. One of the reasons I started watching your vlogs was because of how well you did just this very thing in your solo with David Ryan Harris on Yesterday Shutting Down. Ace work man 👍👍
Bob, its funny… Normally you can hardly hear a player switching setup, especially horn. But somehow you get so much more warmth and colour out of your SBA than your mrk VI… Not that you didn't sound good on the mrk, you did! But love your new setup! (and now you gonna say that this is actually you playing the mrk VI on this video haha)
Wow, I have been watching all your VLOGS Bob, and they are totally opening my mind to new ideas, and ways of approaching music. My favourite song of yours is the live version of Feedback from A Live Life (especially the intro). Now I knew I loved that song, I wasn't sure why but you just explained it to me. Thank you for the inspiration.
Thank you so much for sharing these vlogs. I find it very inspiring and motivating to take part of what music is to you, how you develop and maintain your performance, your thoughts on, well, all things musical and what not.
I also find it very inspiring to see how you fit your music career into an everyday life with a family, wife and kids; I haven't really seen much of that and therefore I'm greatful that you're letting us take part of how you approach all these things.
Chris Potter's solo with Snarky Puppy was great because he would play a theme and alter it. That's why he can play for like 9 minutes and still have an audience plugged in an engaged. Great stuff Bob as usual and yes, I'm still talking about that Chris Potter hit. I swear that thing changed my life. Have a great holiday weekend.
DUDE. You are the man. Like music, you transcend many things in many ways. Thank you
Great ideas! Were you playing a specific tune at the end, or was it just improvisation over that same idea?
Where are the subtitles?

What was your first transcribed solo?
I don't want the tabs, they p''s me off, don't give me tabs. Man. RPT.

Great, this is going to make a big change for my solos
You gave me the words to express something I understood intuitively
All that was said very beautifully bro
Damn, your tone is awesome.
